About this product

This silicone insulated cable offers an economical solution for many temperature related wiring problems due to its impressive temperature range from -60°C right up to 180°C (short term 250°C), with little change to its dielectric strength or its insulation resistance.

The flexibility of this product is retained, even as low temperatures, where other cables such as rubber or PVC would become brittle and ultimately crack.

When exposed to fire, this cable gives off low amounts of smoke and fumes and is halogen free. This makes the cable very useful in certain environments such as airports, hospitals and other public buildings that use the cable to wire alarm, lighting and other necessary services.
